How To Donate to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank This Season
Food
You can drop off non-perishable food items at your local grocery stores, fire halls or at the Food Bank office at 1150 Raymur Avenue.
If you have more than one box, please go to the end of our building to the loading dock, and a staff person will help you to unload your donation. The warehouse is open Monday – Friday, 7 am - 3 pm.
Most needed food items:
- Canned meat/fish
- Peanut butter
- Bags of whole wheat pasta/rice
- Pasta sauce
- Canned fruit/vegetables
- Cereal
- Baby formula
- Baby food

The GVFBS is committed to this mission with the utmost privacy and dignity offered to their recipients.
Today
The GVFBS helps feed up to 9,000 people each week in 15 depots located in Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver and the North Shore. Additionally, the GVFBS aids over 100 food-serving agencies within these areas, providing help to approximately another 16,000 individuals weekly.
Recipients
Up to 25,000 people receive food from the GVFBS each week.

- Single parents
- New immigrants
- Elderly on fixed incomes
The Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society purchases food items including:

- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Milk
- Baby Products
- Protein Items
- Chickens & Turkeys at Christmas
